High Temp FDM Printing
High Temp FDM Printing
At Additech Ingeniería, we have specialized technology for manufacturing parts in advanced materials such as PEEK, PEKK, Ultem, and carbon fiber-reinforced composites. Our 3D printers have been internally modified to operate under extreme thermal conditions, with enclosed chambers and controlled temperatures, ensuring precise and high-quality printing.
This infrastructure allows us to develop high-performance functional parts with exceptional mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties, ideal for demanding industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and petrochemical.
Available Materials
PEI (Ultem) is a thermoplastic known for its excellent thermal resistance, high rigidity, and dimensional stability. These properties make it suitable for demanding environments where durable and precise parts are required.
Due to its qualities, it is widely used in the manufacturing of electrical, aerospace, and automotive components where reliability and high-temperature resistance are essential.
PA-CF (carbon fiber reinforced polyamide) combines the flexibility and chemical resistance of nylon with the stiffness and hardness provided by carbon fiber. This material is perfect for parts that require high mechanical and thermal resistance while maintaining a reduced weight. It is used in industrial, automotive, and sports components.
PC-CF (carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate) is a technical material that offers high impact resistance, dimensional stability, and thermal resistance, along with increased stiffness thanks to the carbon fiber reinforcement. It is ideal for structural applications, demanding mechanical parts, and components exposed to harsh environments.
PEEK is one of the most advanced polymers on the market, with exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals, and mechanical wear. It is used in aerospace, medical, and high-engineering sectors where performance and durability are critical, even under extreme conditions.
PEKK is a high-performance thermoplastic, similar to PEEK but with better processability and greater fire resistance. It is ideal for applications that must meet strict flammability standards.
Thanks to its properties, it is used in the aerospace industry, transportation, and other industrial environments where resistant, lightweight, and reliable materials are required under extreme conditions.
PEKK-CF (carbon fiber reinforced PEKK) combines the printability and properties of PEKK with the added stiffness and strength provided by carbon fiber. It is ideal for structural components that require low weight and high mechanical and thermal resistance in demanding environments.
