Custom solutions
At Additech Ingeniería, we offer a prototyping service focused on agile problem-solving and the development of ideas from their initial stages. Through CAD design and additive manufacturing technologies, we create customized functional parts that allow for geometry validation, replacement of broken components, or development of unique solutions in reduced timeframes. Whether for an urgent need, a proof of concept, or a hard-to-replace part, prototyping is a key tool to transform a requirement into a tangible and useful object.
Quick Response to Emergencies
We solve cases that require immediate solutions, significantly reducing waiting times compared to conventional spare parts.
Custom Designs
We develop personalized parts according to specific requirements, even without having the original component.
Agile Iterations
We allow validation of shapes, fits, and functionalities in real-time, with the possibility of adjustments between versions.
Cost Optimization
We avoid the need to import or acquire expensive spare parts, offering more affordable solutions.
Material Selection According to Use
We work with different polymers such as PLA+, PETG, and technical resins, choosing the most suitable one based on mechanical or thermal demands.
Technical Support
We assist the client from problem definition to final prototype delivery, offering guidance in design and production.
Case Studies
We focus on addressing each client’s specific requirements by delivering a complete design and manufacturing service.
Through additive manufacturing, we created custom cable glands that not only met the technical specifications but also ensured proper protection for cables passing through galvanized conduits, providing a seal that safeguarded the cables from external agents.
The result was a tailored solution that efficiently met the client’s needs, optimizing delivery times while guaranteeing the quality and functionality of the final product.
A team dedicated to tank monitoring approached Additech with a technical challenge: their inspection robot, which uses magnetic wheels to move along the metal walls of the tank, was experiencing structural failures in the motor covers and critical wear on the Teflon wheel responsible for maintaining the proper distance between the sensor and the tank surface.
A complete assessment of the system was carried out, leading to the design and fabrication of new housings to protect the traction motors. Additionally, we developed a custom wheel using high-temperature 3D printing with PC-ABS (polycarbonate ABS), a technical material that ensures wear resistance, dimensional stability, and durability under demanding conditions.
In this case, we provided a fully customized solution, combining design and functionality to optimize the bicycle’s ergonomics.
We designed and manufactured spacers in PLA, available in three different heights (6, 7, and 8 cm), allowing the client to adjust the elbow rest position according to their specific needs.
To ensure the strength and stability of the parts, we carefully configured the printing orientation and the infill pattern, focusing on reinforcing the critical sections of the piece. Additionally, we incorporated an aerodynamic support that connects the spacers with bolts, ensuring a solid and durable structure.
Design and manufacturing of Jeep headlight covers
Our client needed an effective way to cover the auxiliary headlights of their Jeep during urban driving.
At Additech Ingeniería, we designed and 3D printed from scratch a functional and aesthetic cover, tailored to the exact dimensions of the headlights. The design includes a friction-based fastening system with three fine adjustment slots, ensuring a secure grip without risk of the piece coming loose.
